We all want to look as sexy as possible as often as possible. Am I right ladies? Of course! :) Here is a tip for looking sexy when the sun is shining- hide the mystery of who you are behind a pair of attractive designer shades. That way you can also protect your precious peepers from sun damage. With all of the talk about the damage caused by harmful UVA/UVB rays, sunglasses are not just a fashion necessity but also an important health consideration.
Eyes hidden behind a pair of killer shades are very alluring, mysterious and very seductive. Sunglasses are a fashion accessory that no woman should ever be without. Tote a pair with you often, even when the weatherman is not forecasting any sunshine because you just never know!
Don’t stop at one pair. Stock up on shades! Buy a few pairs to complement your many different moods as well as your many different outfits. Sunglasses come in an array of colors and styles and none that you own have to be boring or predictable looking. Be creative and let your fun and sexy side shine through.

Hello Anika:
Are you still involved with this post?
Would you be interested in helping to build a stronger fashion presence in Halifax?
Do you think this would be welcomed?
My name is Chazz and I am originally from Toronto but now live in Vancouver.
I am wanting to move to Halifax but I am not sure how much of a fashion presence there is there.
Fashion is my life and I have the skills to make a presence in Halifax with help from others who are fashion savy and sare the same dream.
I am also presently working on a line of intimates and swimwear.
I have been involved extensively in the Fashion scene since 1990. I am a makeup artist, fashion designer, award winning hairstylist, photographer, ran a modelling agency etc. etc. I have done it all and done it well.
I have worked backstage at the Toronto, New York & Vancouver Fashion Weeks frequently. I have also ran shows myself.
Do you think that a Halifax fashion Week could be started there? I would love to make it happen if there is a culture there to support it and people whilling to work on it with me.
As well as a designer I am also a Great Lengths extension specialist. Do you think this is something that could flourish there as well.
Drop me a line and let me know what you think? Can you also direct me to other sites of forums that could help in my search.
Thanks;
Chazz
Hi Chazz,
Thanks for writing. Yes I am still involved with the blog but other projects have prevented me from posting much as of late.
If you read my first post you will notice that I said that my friend said that style and fashion is non existent here in Halifax. I agree to a certain extent but am optimistic nonetheless. Personally I am not in the fashion industry, I just love fashion and enjoy writing about it! :)
I do think a Halifax fashion week would be a fantastic idea! I think your other talents could also definitely be put to work in this city. Strides are being made in terms of fashion but the city still has a long way to go.
At present I do not have any specific links for you to look up but if you want to give me your e-mail address I can certainly get back to you.
Hoping to hear from you soon. All the best,
Anika
Hi Anika:
Hey thanks so much for the reply. I have had a few replies about the fashion scene and I find I am getting mixed reviews. I was told that Halifax has the largest youth population in all of Canada as well as 6 Universities to boot.
I know that there is rteally only the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design (NSCAD University) that puts on a fashion show each year so there is lots of room for improvement but that doesn't mean that people are not hip to keeping up with the trends etc.
What do ppeople wear there & what are the kids into? Do they just run around in jeans & tees or do they actually look as though they are into fashion? Do they look after their hair are they into hair extensions etc.
Do you know anyone who has extensions? This is what I am trying to find out. I know there is about 4 salons there that do extensions but are they busy doing them or does anyone care? Do you think extensions are something people would want to spend $$ on and do they have $$ to spend? Would you get extensions?
I can certainly fix the problem of lack of fashion shows and bringing fashion to the forefront but if there are no designers to show their clothes then that is a problem as well.
I hear that only Nova Scotia College of Art and Design (NSCAD University) and Dalhousie University have any fashion related courses. Dalhousie has Costume design. Do you know iof any other places that may have fashion classes? I found alot of fabric stores and lots and lots of quilting stores so material is not a factor. Montreal is also only 12 1/2 hours away to shop in.
Are you able to find out any info for me? It would be a great help. I also need to find out what the salons that do Great Lengths extensions charge. i will have to call them up for this info.
Next question....If I was to move to Halifax would you be interested in helping to build a "Halifax Fashion Week"? If you were interested what skills would you see contributing? Are you good at organizing etc.?
I ask this because I am quite serious about starting this up as it is just the project I am looking for. Let me know if you would be interested in helping me gather information?
